Wakefield MDC LLC1 Goes Digital

HM Land Registry have confirmed that Wakefield Metropolitan District Council will shortly have their Local Land Charges (LLC) data made available – as of Monday 22nd April 2024.

How will this affect my Wakefield MDC Official Searches?

For SafeMove customers, the process for ordering an LLC1 from Wakefield Metropolitan District Council through SafeMove’s ordering platform will remain the same.

Customers will notice some differences in the way their results are returned:

• LLC1 results will be returned faster than normal (typically within 24 hours), as the report will be processed via the Land Registry’s new Digital Register.
• There will be some changes to the LLC1 report format, as the data will be returned from Land Registry – instead of the Local Authority.
• The LLC1 and CON29 will continue to be listed as separate lines on the invoices customers receive from SafeMove.

The CON29 element of the search will continue to be returned as it always has been in accordance with the Local Authority’s turnaround time which as specified at the point of order.
