Our Society Promise
SafeMove's strategic focus on providing excellent customer service, strong financial and environmental performance includes a Society plan.
SafeMove’s Society Plan: an annual plan to deliver economic, environmental and social benefits to our local community.
SafeMove’s approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) is founded on the principle that the interests of the environment, customers and society at large are best served through the efficient, effective and proper operation of our business.
This is achieved through a clear strategic focus on providing excellent customer service, strong financial and environmental performance and by effectively managing the relationships we have with our people, service partners and society.
Society Plan
Part of this strategy is SafeMove’s Society Plan: an annual plan to deliver economic, environmental and social benefits to our local community.
Our society plan coordinates the delivery of all our community activities and each year we survey our staff, customers and other stakeholders to understand which community projects and good causes they would like us to support.
Since we first began our Society strategy in 2014, the SafeMove team have worked with over 40 organisations, raised several thousand pounds and contributed hundreds of volunteer hours over the years for our chosen charities and good causes.
Our 2023-24 Choices
As the 2022-23 financial year drew to a close, we asked our staff and customers to help us decide which good causes and organisations SafeMove should choose for its societal cause for the 2023/24 year.
The Leeds based children’s cancer support charity, Candlelighters has once again been chosen as SafeMove’s main charity of the year for the 2023-24 period.
Last year, for the 2022/23 period, our team raised £411 for the charity.
