Relocation of Yorkshire Water’s Public Mapping Computer

Following Yorkshire Water’s announcement last October of its plans to close its head office at Buttershaw and relocate to a new site in Leeds, we can now confirm that the site will officially relocate to Leeds Valley Park on Tuesday, 1st September 2026.

This relocation will affect the availability and location of the Public Mapping Terminal. Please note the following key details:

• To facilitate the move, the terminal will be unavailable for bookings from 11:00 AM on Friday, 4th September until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, 8th September 2026.
• From Tuesday, 8th September 2026, all appointments will take place at Yorkshire Water’s new offices in Leeds, address below:

• ⚠️Important: In a change to our process, you must now bring photo ID that matches the name on your booking. Failure to do so will result in you being denied your appointment slot.
• Bookings: The online booking portal will be updated automatically to reflect its new location. You may continue to book slots up to 7 days in advance as usual at Buttershaw up to the last available 30 min appointment time of 10:30 AM on 4th September.
• Visitor Information: When visiting the new, Leeds Valley Park site, please reverse park within the marked bays and report directly to reception upon arrival.
• Terminal Management: SafeMove will continue to manage the terminal; however, the SafeMove team will be based at a different site. When looking up directions online, please search for "Yorkshire Water, Leeds Valley Park" rather than "SafeMove" to ensure you arrive at the correct location.
