SafeMove Stakeholder Event

We're holding our 2nd Stakeholder event and we'd love for you to be apart of it! We have some of the finest property professionals in the industry speaking on the day providing you with current local and national property industry information, mortgages and property market forecasts.

Friday 28th September 2018. Start time of 8am with refreshments for a prompt start of 8.30am. The event is due to close at 4pm.

Double Trees by Hilton, Granary Wharf, 2 Wharf Approach, Leeds LS1 4BR

Places are free, however numbers are limited so early booking is recommended.

Map and Directions. There's plenty of parking in Leeds, however you can park at the hotel  for £9 on a first come first served basis.

Fancy the train? Leeds Train Station is a 2 minute walk to the hotel. Exit via the Southern Entrance which will lead you directly to Granary Wharf.

Jamie will be providing an overview of their digital transformation including an update on Local Land Charges, Digital Mortgages and Digital Street projects. 
Kate Faulkner
Property Expert
Kate is one of the UK’s leading property experts, focusing on consumer education and providing free independent property advice via Propertycheckists.co.uk. Kate is regularly featured in the press, on the radio and TV, including ITV’s This Morning and BBC Breakfast. Kate also initiated and created The lettings Industry Council and The Homebuying and Selling Group. Kate will be providing you with updates and forecasts on the property market. 
Paul Broadhead
Head of Mortgage Policy, Building Societies Association
Paul was born in Manchester and started his career with the then Halifax Building Society. He played a key role in the implementation of FSA mortgage regulation within Halifax plc in 2004. He joined the BSA and set up its mortgage team in November 2008. Paul is a frequent media commentator and conference speaker on matters relating to mortgages and housing in the UK. He is also a member of the Consumer Policy Working Group of the European Association of Co-operative Banks Group. Paul will providing an overview of the market in terms of mortgages and housing.  
Andrew Simpson
Senior Account Manager, The Coal Authority
Andrew joined the Coal Authority in March 2016 and operates within the Mining Reports Team of the business and is responsible for leading the Client Services Account Team. He will be providing you with a background on the Coal Authority’s products and services, and on their innovation activities. 
Chris Hatch

Chris will be talking about “Riskview - Modern Conveyancing”. He'll be taking you through the Riskview Report and how it’s fits into the conveyancing world, exploring the different environmental risks that affect property transactions.

Andrew Crawshaw
Senior Account Manager, Groundsure
Andy Crawshaw has been working in the property industry for over 15 years and is well versed in each aspect of a property transaction. From starting off in Mortgages, to dealing with Estate agents and property developers via online property portals, to now advising the industry on Environmental Risks involved in both Residential and Commercial property. Andy will be taking you back through the history of Leeds via Historical Mapping, including, what Groundsure do and how they do it.  
Amy Parkinson
Customer Relationship Manager, SafeMove
Amy has worked for SafeMove for over 15 years and has a wealth of experience when it comes to the CON29DW report. She has advised on many conveyancing matters over her time at SafeMove and is able to give an in depth evaluation on the report.

Amy has been delivering talks to solicitors in the Yorkshire Region for many years and has built up a reputation of giving solid practical advice and support throughout. Amy will be providing a talk about the Value of Service and what this means for our differing customer bases, including the differences between the CON29DW and personal searches in the market - how do these affect you and your client?
This event will be CPD accredited by CPDUK, with certificates being awarded to all attendees who require it.
