Complimentary Online Event for Conveyancing, Property & Planning Professionals: Wednesday 23rd September 2020


SafeMove's Land and Property Event in September 2020 is moving to a live series of webinars to keep within COVID-19 social distancing rules.


Aimed at conveyancers, land and property developers, planners and designers the SafeMove Land and Property Symposium is a full day of webinars that aims to deliver insights and knowledge through a series of short online presentations delivered by leading industry influencers. Each webinar will feature a leading industry influencers that will be of interest to professionals within the sector. Sessions will be recorded so content can be accessed after the event.


Keynote speakers for the 2020 event:


Kate Faulkner

Kate is one of the UK’s leading property experts, focusing on consumer education and providing free independent property advice through her online portals.


Jamie Winch, HM Land Registry

Jamie is Policy & Stakeholder Engagement Manager on the HM Land Registry’s Local Land Charges Programme (LLC). He has conducted research and feasibility testing with key industry stakeholders and assisted in the development of the necessary policy to support the LLC and Wider Powers legislation during the passage of the Infrastructure Act 2015 through the parliamentary process and more recently worked on the development of the Local Land Charges Rules 2016.


Amy Parkinson, SafeMove

Amy has worked for Yorkshire Water's SafeMove for over 15 years and has a wealth of experience when it comes to the CON29DW drainage and water report for conveyancers. Along the way, she’s advised on many conveyancing matters and can give an in-depth evaluation on the report.


Linda Wright, PlaniTWright

Linda is a planning consultant advising property developers and investors across England and Wales. She is a keynote speaker, writer and guest lecturer at Manchester, Liverpool and Bolton universities and has enjoyed a successful 35-year career in planning in both the public and private sectors.


Paul Addison, Dev Assist

Having worked in the housing development and planning sector for most of his career, Paul now assists the property investment sector in assessing the risk exposure that they and their clients hold in residential land.
